Mixed Uses and Mixed Incomes.

Policy Description: 

In existing neighborhoods, a mixture of land use types, housing sizes and lot sizes may be possible if properly planned and respectful of neighborhood character. Require careful design wherever land uses are mixed in order to ensure compatibility, accessibility and appropriate transitions between land uses that vary in intensity and scale.

Action 1:

Develop mixed-use development guidelines as part of a comprehensive design guideline update.

Action 2:

Adopt new Unified Development Ordinance standards for mixed use zoning district(s).

Action 3:

Review and update Unified Development Ordinance standards for home occupations.
